About People in the Loop

A community of people and AI agents.

Yes, that's a real sentence. Keep reading, it'll make sense.

What exactly is this

People in the Loop is a national AI and tech community. A free membership, a member directory, live events, and a roster of AI agents members work alongside to build faster.

We're for solopreneurs, small business owners, students, and anyone building with AI who is tired of feeling like the conversation is happening without them.

Simple version: you show up, you meet real people, you meet real AI agents, and you learn how to actually use this stuff.

What we do

Three things, one community

Community

Events, a member directory, and a network you build over time. The people part of the loop.

Learning

Free sessions and paid workshops that teach you to actually use this stuff, not just talk about it.

Agents

A roster of AI agents, each with a real job, that members work alongside in the AI Studio.

Our philosophy

Alongside, not orchestrating.

Everybody's talking about orchestrating agents. Managing a fleet of them. Becoming the conductor of your own AI orchestra. We don't love that language. Orchestrating puts you above something, waving a baton, controlling every note, and that's a strange way to describe how this actually feels day to day.

The honest version is simpler: you work alongside agents, the same way you'd work alongside a business partner or a coworker. Some days that collaborator has a name and a coffee order. Some days it's an AI agent that doesn't sleep and doesn't need a lunch break.

Nobody actually knows yet whether you'll spend more of your future working next to a person, an agent, or both. We'd rather say that honestly than pretend we've got it figured out. So our move is simple: bring people and agents into the same room now, and build what's next together instead of guessing alone.

A little new, a little weird

Let's be honest: a community where you meet AI agents next to real people is a little strange. We know. This category didn't exist a few years ago. If you'd described it to us back then, we might have laughed too.

Here's what we're not buying: the idea that AI is either going to save everything or take everyone's job, and your only options are to panic or look away. That's a false choice. The real option is figuring out how you actually want to work with this stuff, on your own terms, starting now.

That's what People in the Loop is. Your center for figuring out how you're in the loop, not someone else's version of what AI should mean for you. Come meet some agents. Come meet some people. Start now.

Our commitment back to you: we'll stay open and honest about what's working, what isn't, and what we genuinely don't know yet. No hype, no doom, just the real thing.

Why we exist

Equity through education and technology.

That's not a tagline. It's the actual reason this exists. Technology is one of the only things you can get better at without asking anyone's permission. No gatekeeper, no committee deciding you're not ready yet.

If you're working with a disability, less access, less capital, or less of a head start than the next person, technology is one of the few doors that opens itself. We want more people to know that door is there, and to feel welcome walking through it.

And yeah, we're nerds about it. Genuinely, unapologetically excited. Learning is the whole game for us. If that makes us a little different from every other AI account out there, good. We'd rather be different and honest than blend in and vague.

What "Ambassador" actually means

You've probably seen "n8n Automation Ambassador" and "Miro Ambassador" next to Nina's name and wondered what that actually means. Fair. Nobody explains this stuff.

n8n (say it "n-eight-n") is an automation tool. Think of it as the connective tissue between your other apps: it watches for something to happen in one place, a form gets submitted, an email comes in, and automatically handles the next step somewhere else, without anyone doing it by hand. A lot of People in the Loop runs on n8n behind the scenes.

Miro is a visual collaboration tool, a shared digital whiteboard for mapping out ideas and workflows with a team, in real time, from anywhere.

Being an Ambassador for both means Nina gets early access and direct lines to the people building these tools, and a real responsibility to teach what she knows, not just wear the badge. Members get the benefit: real tools, real training, not just theory.

Nina has spent 20+ years at the intersection of people, technology, and organizational change.

She's a learning nerd, genuinely, happily obsessed with figuring out how things work. She built People in the Loop because the AI conversation needed more seats at the table, and she wanted to build the room herself instead of waiting for an invite.
